John Hansen
 John Hansen brings his drive, proven leadership skills, strong technical knowledge and over 20 years of industry experience in the computer and telecommunications industry to TrackerRealm. John believes strongly that management needs to role model corporate values.
Over the past 5 years John has been involved as founder of several software companies, including Newlix, a Linux company, where he served as president for 4 years. John has 15 years experience with Intel in both sales and marketing capacity. John was a Territory Technical Sales Manager for seven years and was responsible for Canada and the Mid-West U.S. This experience has given John insight into the computer industry, both from a key technology supplier and from a customer viewpoint.
John understands the importance of the architectural sell and also the importance of meeting a large sales quota. He was also responsible for many divisional marketing efforts exploiting Intel's world sales resources in field product planning teams. Before Intel, John spent 5 years with NORTEL/BNR Labs in Ottawa as a design engineer focusing on system level design of microcontroller based data communication systems.
During his career John has kept his technical knowledge up to date. A deep technical and practical understanding of technologies such as object oriented design, XML, and software architectures such as .Net is a necessary ingredient in achieving success.
John graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
