Introducing Web Parts

TRACKERREALM is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the Web Part Express Suite operating on either Microsoft SharePoint or ASP.net. The suite is available as a free download.
“The most significant facet of this suite is that it works either on SharePoint server or in a plain ASP.net environment”, says TrackerRealm co-founder Charles Wiebe. Charles continues, “We will continue to enhance the suite by adding new features and web parts’. “This is all part of our SharePoint Workflow ecosystem”, adds co-founder John Hansen.
Web Parts are standalone software components that perform a specific function, such as rich text edit and display or Word document display within a web page. Web Page design can be performed by the end user by simply placing Web Parts on the page.
Web Parts were introduced by Microsoft in SharePoint 2003. They are also available for use in ASP.net web page design, marking the emergence of user designed websites.
