Tracker migrates to .NET 2.0

TRACKERREALM is pleased to announce the release of Tracker PC 2.1, based on Microsoft .NET 2.0. This release incorporates improvements across the product, including:
  • ClickOnce installer
  • XML technologies
  • Backup and Restore across database upgrades, backups and archiving
  • Improved User interface
The ClickOnce installer and updater are integrated into Tracker PC 2.1, making it a snap to install and automatically stay up to date with the latest software.
XML technologies are integrated into Tracker PC 2.1 and used to create dynamic reports that may be viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Word or Excel.
Backup and Restore is a critical component managing today’s data. Although database upgrades are seldom performed, data backups and data archiving are done on a regular basis. Tracker’s XML-based backup and restore makes it easy to recover discrete blocks of data when users accidentally delete information.
The Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework includes new controls that significantly improves the end user experience. TrackerRealm has integrated these controls into Tracker PC and Tracker Web, making these products simple to use with minimum keyboard interactions.
Tracker PC is a windows application for workflow tracking. It allows you to manage workflows while on-line or off-line. Tracker Web is a web page workflow tracking tool. It allows you to stay connected to progress of your workflows and business processes from anywhere.
